Dubai, 21st September 2024 – Mr. IMANISHI Jun, the Consul General of Japan in Dubai, attended a pop culture event hosted by Speedy Comics at Times Square Centre. The celebration featured anime, cosplay, gaming, and music activities, highlighting Japanese pop culture’s influence.

Mr. IMANISHI met renowned voice actress Romi Park, famous for her roles as Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist and Hange Zoë in Attack on Titan. He also enjoyed a Pokémon card event organized by Activegulf, praising the spread of Japanese culture in the UAE.
